In this course you will explore and understand the key K-8 instructional approaches of an effective teacher in Ontario. Lessons and activities will delve into inquiry-based learning, Universal Design for Learning, differentiated instruction and project-based learning concepts, approaches, and strategies. The fundamental principles of assessment and evaluation in Ontario will also be explored. This course is facilitated by an experienced Ontario educator who will guide you in dialogue and research to understand the essential practices for effective planning, instruction, and assessment to support all students in K-8 Ontario classrooms. Previous K-8 classroom teaching experience is recommended.

Course Fee: $275 + HST

Withdrawal Policy: Withdrawals are effective on the date a withdrawal request is received. Course fees refunded are subject to a $50 non-refundable amount. No withdrawals or refunds once the course has begun.
