This course is designed to “extend skills and knowledge of teachers in the design, delivery and assessment of a subject-specific senior division program.” Teaching Senior History is a complex activity, and involves more than a sound knowledge of Ontario Ministry of Education course expectations. Using up-to-date on-line resources, and realistic, reflective activities, this course will provide students with the opportunity to explore, share and incorporate theoretical approaches and teaching strategies appropriate to the Senior History classroom.
