Teaching Students with Intellectual Needs (Developmental Disabilities)
This course is designed to enable teachers and educational staff to plan programs for students with Intellectual Disabilities. Participants will understand various types of Intellectual Disabilities of students that may enter their classroom and each child's unique potential. This course focuses on inclusivity by promoting a classroom environment that is safe, nurturing and open to the developmental differences and needs of students with Intellectual Differences.Prerequisites
- An undergraduate degree acceptable to the Ontario College of Teachers
- Be a member in good standing with the OCT
